I'm an unashamed food nerd. In fact, I own the top score at my local watering hole's electronic game thing for food trivia. No joke (ok, that is kind of embarrassing). I'm also a writer at a job where my writing is about as creative as a two-by-four, so I started this, since I love to cook and I love to write (but not like two-by-fours). I've been cooking with my dad since I was two years old (much to the horror of one of my grandmothers who found me stirring boiling water at the age of six) and I love being in my kitchen. My boyfriend, Matt, who you will get to know well in the course of this blog, was a pescatarian when we met and still is. Over the course of our time together, meat has sneaked out of my diet, and I don't miss it one bit!
